Do you ever hear something over and over again before it dawns on you, “ohhhhhh, I was supposed to pay attention to that?!”. Yeah. It happens to me too…all the time.
Luckily, The Universe and I get each other. I know there are times that I need external support and guidance. I know just like my intuition, The Universe will not steer me in the “wrong” direction. I continue to practice trusting that The Universe will reveal perfectly-suited-for-me next steps on my path. I reflect with gratitude on all the times The Universe has showed up for me.
And The Universe knows sometimes it may take me 3, 4 or even 900 times to finally catch a message or see a sign. The Universe knows I prefer my signs or messages to be huge and clear and fully lit up like a billboard on the side of the highway.
“EXIT HERE” (Checks right lane, turns on blinker, smoothly merges and exits highway for destination. Done.)
But most of my signs and messages are subtle and seemingly without specific direction.
“Wildlife Viewing Area” (Wait, where? What kind of wildlife? We don’t have time. I have to go to the bathroom. That seems dangerous.
I’m hungry. Let’s stop on our way back.”)
So depending on where my head is at, sometimes I miss the first couple signs. I don’t realize it is a message for me until I see it over and over.
Sometimes I am not-so-patiently waiting for a message. Sometimes I am actually feeling very grounded and balanced and can patiently wait. Sometimes my attention is all over the place and I forget that I need to be tuned in or more open to receiving direction or guidance.
This week was no exception.
Over the course of this week, I have heard, seen, felt, read and was directly told the same type of message…over and over again: Stop creating your own resistance, Go with the flow, Let go, and Remember to enjoy the ride.
- What are the messages you have been receiving that you are dismissing or avoiding?
- What direction have signs been trying to point you in?
- Where are the opportunities in your life to “let go”, “go with the flow”, “reduce resistance (meaning stop trying to control what you can not control)”, or “enjoy the ride”?
Just some stuff to think about 🙂
